Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) Guide for Malaysians 2026 – Step-by-Step With Pictures
Planning a quick weekend getaway, a food hunting trip or a family holiday across the causeway? Before you pack your bags for Singapore, there is one crucial digital document you must complete : the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC).
To help our customers at ZFB Travel enjoy a seamless immigration clearance, we have put together this fresh, up-to-date walkthrough based on the latest 2026 Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) portal.
SGAC Essential Quick Facts
Before we jump into the step-by-step submission, here is a quick breakdown of what the SGAC actually is:
- What is it? A mandatory electronic landing card and health declaration that replaces the old physical "white card".
Is it a Visa? No. Malaysians still enjoy visa-free entry into Singapore for social visits. - How much does it cost? 100% FREE. ICA does not charge a single cent for this submission.
- When to submit? Strictly within 3 days before your arrival date (including the day of arrival). For example, if you are entering Singapore on a Friday, you can submit it starting from Tuesday.
Who is exempted?
Only Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents (PR), and Long-Term Pass holders entering via Land Checkpoints do not need to submit this. If you are a Malaysian citizen, you MUST submit it regardless of whether you enter by car, bus, train, flight or cruise.
Things to Prepare Before You Start
Make sure you have these details ready on hand to speed up your application :
- Original Passport (Valid for at least 6 months)

You will be directed to the main landing page. Simply click on the "Submit SGAC" button to initiate your application.

💡 Pro-Travel Tips by ZFB Travel
- Check Auto-Gates Eligibility: Malaysian passport holders are eligible to use Singapore's automated clearance lanes (e-gates) at both land and air checkpoints, provided your SGAC is successfully submitted beforehand!
- Keep Data Roaming Ready : Ensure your roaming data or Singapore eSIM is active right before you hit immigration, just in case you need to pull up your email confirmation.
- Going in a Group? If you are heading down with family, the SGAC portal allows you to choose a "Group Submission" at the beginning so you can submit up to 10 people at once.
