Experience Overview

This 4-day private itinerary provides the ultimate nature and adventure exploration across East Java, combining active volcanoes, massive jungle waterfalls, and high-alpine resort attractions. Day 1 begins upon arrival at Juanda International Airport, touring central Surabaya city landmarks and the Cheng Ho Mosque before a 3.5-hour mountain drive to check into Bromo. Day 2 features an early 3:00 AM Bromo volcanic jeep safari, returning for breakfast before transferring to Batu Highland for an apple orchard picking experience, the floral displays of Flora Wisata Santerra, Museum Angkut, and checking into Malang. Day 3 features a 2-hour drive to witness the magnificent curtain walls of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, returning via Sidoarjo City for leather and traditional cracker shopping, checking into Surabaya for retail mall therapy. Day 4 concludes with breakfast and a final airport transfer out.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya Arrival – Bromo

Arrival at Juanda Airport Surabaya. Meet and greet with our professional guide.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Embark on a central Surabaya City Tour, visiting the historic Surabaya Landmark, Submarine Monument (Monkasel), and the landmark Heroes Monument (Tugu Pahlawan).
Proceed out towards Mount Bromo, making a scenic stopover at the famous Cheng Ho Mosque.
Continue the drive up towards the Mount Bromo highlands (approximately a 3.5-hour drive by private vehicle).
Dinner served at a local restaurant along the route.
Check-in and overnight at the hotel in the Bromo region.

Day 2: Bromo – Batu – Malang

Wake up for an early 03:00 AM pick-up directly from the hotel lobby to experience the magnificent Mount Bromo Sunrise.
Depart by a rugged four-wheel drive Jeep for a 1-hour drive up to the spectacular Mount Penanjakan viewpoint.
Hike for 10–15 minutes to reach the sunrise viewing platform (our guide will select the least crowded viewpoint out of 4 nearby areas for your comfort).
Return to your private Jeep and drive down for 30–40 minutes across the vast Sea of Sand to explore the active crater of Mount Bromo.
Board the Jeep at around 08:00 AM – 09:00 AM and drive back to the hotel for a warm breakfast, a refreshing shower, and check-out.
Transfer to the beautiful Batu Highland, a pristine mountain resort region, to visit a local Apple Plantation where visitors are allowed to pick fresh fruits straight from the orchard trees.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the spectacular Flora Wisata Santerra De Laponte and explore the world-class Museum Angkut (Museum of Transportation & Movie Star Studio complex).

Day 3: Malang – Tumpak Sewu – Surabaya

Embark on a 2-hour drive out to visit the monumental Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, taking photos of the grand multi-tiered canyon cascade.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Proceed down towards Surabaya (approximately a 3–4 hour drive by private vehicle).
Stop at Sidoarjo City for a custom shopping excursion at Tanggulangin, world-famous for its high-quality leather products (belts, purses, bags, and shoes), Sidoarjo Shrimp Crackers at local traditional snack shops, and the Indah Embroidery Moslem Fashion showroom.

Day 4: Surabaya – Transfer Out

Flights and Transfers

International and domestic airfares along with international airport taxes are not included in the package. Mount Bromo crater and viewpoint transfers are handled completely via private four-wheel drive Jeeps. This includes 1 airport arrival pickup transfer and 1 airport departure drop-off transfer per booking segment.

Important Booking Notes

Child Policy (02–10 Years Old): Children sharing a room with 2 adults utilizing an extra bed setup are evaluated at 90% of the standard adult rate. Children sharing with 2 adults without requiring an extra bed setup are evaluated at 60% of the adult rate. Children sharing a room configuration with only 1 adult are charged 100% of the full adult share rate. Infants under 24 months old (under 02 years old) travel completely Free of Charge with no separate beds or services provided.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: If a reservation cancellation request is submitted more than 10 days before the scheduled arrival date, no extra fees or penalties apply. For cancellation notices submitted less than 10 days before arrival (after the 40% down payment has been processed), a 10% refund of the total down payment received will be issued. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows occurring after the full balance payment has been settled are strictly non-refundable.
