Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Banda Aceh

Your guide meets you at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport. Visit the tsunami mass graves, the PLTD Apung floating power station, the navy ship, Masjid Baiturrahim Ulee Lheue and the tsunami escape building, then check in.

Overnight: Banda Aceh.

Day 2: Banda Aceh city tour

Visit Masjid Raya Baiturrahman, the Aceh State Museum, the Gunongan and Putroe Phang park, the Tsunami Museum and the fishing boat on the roof. Stop at a souvenir shop, pass the Syiah Kuala University campus and try Acehnese coffee.

Meals: breakfast. Overnight: Banda Aceh.

Day 3: Markets, heritage and beaches

Shop at Pasar Aceh, then visit the Dome in the Middle of the Paddy Field, Cut Nyak Dhien's house and an Acehnese cake centre. In the afternoon, see Lhoknga Beach, Masjid Rahmatullah and Lampuuk Beach.

Day 4: Departure
